I've been raising beef cattle on my own since 1984 at Roanoke, Illinois and grew up on the same corn/soybean/alfalfa farm that I was born into in 1950. For me, being around livestock has been a pleasure-the sounds, the outdoors, the smells, the people involved create the most satisfying life of a farmer/rancher.
Being health conscious like many of you folks are has caused my cattle enterprise to become hormone and nearly all antibiotic free. My mostly angus and angus cross beef are corn fed, humanely raised and harvested at a local highly respectable, USDA inspected locker, where they are cut/processed after 10-14 days of dry-aging, and immediately frozen all without any additives, flavor enhancers, or preservatives.
My products include gourmet beef patties 87% and 90% (only rump, round, and sirloin tip) lean your various steaks, beef sticks and spicy jerky (each organically seasoned only).
Other gourmet products include bison steak patties elk steak patties and various other cuts including steaks and elk sticks (organically seasoned) all without preservatives, additives, etc.
